A Numerical Study on the Flexural Behaviour of Concrete with Partial Replacement of Cement by Coal Bottom Ash

Chithra M, Dr.K. Sudha

Abstract

Coal bottom ash (CBA), a waste product produced by power plants and derived from coal, can be used in place of cement in concrete construction and offers significant technical and environmental advantages. This study aims to the sustainable replacement of cement by coal bottom ash in concrete. Because Portland cement is the primary component used in the construction of concrete, the amount of concrete that is consumed also increases the demand for it. It is anticipated that new supplementary cementing materials will be introduced in response to the rising demand for Portland cement. The FEM software ANSYS should be used for analysis purpose, Flexural strength of beam will be evaluated.
