Abstract

The construction industry stands as a testament to the ceaseless march of progress, undergoing a remarkable transformation over the years. Central to this evolution is the infusion of automation technologies, which have been strategically harnessed to elevate safety, efficiency, and the overall quality of project outcomes. Within this technological upheaval, one vital facet has emerged - the integration of advanced ventilation systems. These systems, often overlooked but undeniably crucial, are the unsung heroes of construction automation. This review paper embarks on an exploration of their pivotal role, unearthing the profound impact they wield over worker health, environmental sustainability, and the entire construction process. Through the lens of recent developments and emerging trends, this paper endeavors to shed light on the often-underestimated importance of ventilation within the construction industry. Ventilation's significance in ensuring the safety and productivity of construction operations cannot be overstated, and its role in the ongoing transformation of the industry warrants a comprehensive examination.
