QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF LAND SURFACE TEMPERATURE FOR ESTIMATING ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Maitreyi H, Hemanth Kumar G N, Shabari B, Haika Tahir, Prof. Supraja

Abstract

Monitoring Environment pre-covid, during covid and post-covid with the help of land surface temperature using remote sensing technique. As Bangalore being a rapidly urbanizing metropolitan city, Temperature got increased beyond the predication but there was tremendous healing during covid, which reflected in increase of rainfall intensity, moderate temperature throughout year. Also convective winds started reappearing after 3 decades.

This project will be carried with help of open- source software QGIS various indices will be calculated along with LULC, NBVI, NDBI, UTFVI and LST to precise results.
