Land Reclamation – Creating Landforms from Water

Land reclamation or land filling is a process of building landform on water bodies like seas, oceans, rivers etc. It increases the usable land available for various purposes like housing, agriculture or other uses. Land reclamation is an age old science of creating added landform above and beyond existing earth’s space. Back in historical years, Bangladesh and Netherlands were made by land fill processes.
