Study of Eco-Friendly Pesticides alternative to conventional pesticides
Abstract
One of the major problems in today’s life is to guarantee the nutrition to mankind and to achieve this guarantee several measures are taken & one of the most important tools is pesticides. But the use of pesticides involves hazards to environment, as they are closely related to the increasing use of chemicals. Exposure of human being to pesticides may be occupational (Through the manufacture & application of pesticides) or non – occupational (e.g. residue of pesticides in food) therefore, more &more people are becoming conscious of living life, the Eco-friendly way and some safer alternatives to chemicals products must be used, like natural pesticides, which have several advantages unlike conventional pesticides.
Natural pesticides are safer for farm workers who are at high risk for pesticides exposure and also insects are less likely to evolve resistance the ability to shrug off once – effective toxin.
