Position of Architect in Digital Tools

Abstract

Now is the era for modern tools and techniques, right from the smart phone to supercomputer, technology play a vital role in our everyday life. Architecture is no different it is highly impossible to neglect computer tools in Architecture designing. Even though Architects use the computer to a minimal in the design process, but digital tools go hand in hand developing the drawings to precision. From the initial process of site analysis where one uses advanced tools to capture the site information and transform that into tangible and intangible information in conceptualizing the design. Although in development of design each Architect approach is individual, the starting point of any designer should be visualizing in one's mind and transforming that into sketch, the development drawings and construction drawing multiple software tools may be used to increase the efficiency and for better presentation. Coordination at the site level may be a strenuous task, with the help of computer tools the process will be simpler and the error may be minimized.
