Analysis of the Exact Nature of Work Stress Facing Employees in Jaiz Bank PLC, Nigeria

Abstract


This research paper examines the nature of work stress faced by employees in Jaiz Bank PLC, Nigeria, with a focus on specific stressors and their impact on employee well-being and job performance. The study aims to provide insights into the challenges faced by bank employees in Nigeria and propose strategies for stress management and employee support. The research utilizes a cross-sectional design and collects data through a structured questionnaire. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) results show that job satisfaction, employee well-being, job position, years of experience, and gender significantly influence work stress levels. Based on these findings, recommendations are made to enhance job satisfaction, foster employee well-being, tailor support for different job positions, implement career development programs, promote gender equality and diversity, and regularly assess work stress levels. Overall, this research contributes to understanding work stress in the Nigerian banking industry and provides actionable insights for organizations to create a supportive work environment.
