Abstract

The hepatitis A virus (HAV) is a positive-sense, single-stranded RNA virus that is related to the family Picornaviridae. It replicates within hepatocytes in a primary manner and is a common infectious etiology of acute hepatitis worldwide. Symptoms of acute infection are nausea, vomiting, fatigue, malaise, abdominal pain, poor appetite, and fever. This activity explains about the evaluation as well as management of hepatitis A and highlights the role of the inter professional team in promoting care for patients along with this condition.
