Abstract

Accurate IP address detection is essential in the digital age for many industries, including network administration, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Our study begins with a thorough data collection process that places a focus on gathering a variety of textual data. After careful tokenization and data preparation in C++, we use regular expressions to distinguish between IPv4 and IPv6 address formats. Our efficient IP address detection method instantly archives found IP addresses for in-depth analysis by fusing regular expressions with tokenized data. The reliability of the technique is made certain through efficient validation, testing, and efficiency enhancement. We provide an efficient C++-based approach for detecting IP addresses, log the results, provide context, and perform a thorough analysis. This rigorous technique enhances our understanding of IP address detection and serves as a catalyst for further investigation in the field.
