A Review: Food Quality Management through Pesticide Residues Analysis

Sarita B. Dhoble

Abstract

This review presents determination of pesticide residues in a wide range of matrices for the food quality analysis. The analysis is carried out by determining variety residues using different methods in a single analytical run. This review consider different aspects of pesticide analysis for food, including conventional and advanced extraction methods and by using new sample preparation techniques. Pesticide residue contamination may be found due to almost anything that is used, for or is associated with, sampling methods, prepared sample transport and storage condition, and the experimentation or analysis. This document help to describe the process of quality control requirements for quality management to support the validity of data to controls on pesticide residues. The review report in this document may use for laboratories involved in the quality control of pesticide residues for food quality management.
