Abstract

A sign language robotic arm is a device that interprets spoken language and converts it into sign language gestures, providing a more accurate way of communication for the people who are hard of hearing. The robotic arm typically use machine learning algorithms or sensors and cameras to detect and interpret language or  hand manoeuvre, which are then converted into sign language gestures using actuators and an end effector. In designing of a sign language robotic arm requires careful consideration of factors such as payload capacity, reach, speed, accuracy and safety. Overall, the use of sign language robotic arm has the potential to revolutionize communication for individuals who rely on robotic gestures to interact with the world around them.
