Mr. Firoz Mansuri, Dr. Nishat Parveen Khan

Abstract

The feeling of becoming a mother is very special for every woman. It is believed that when a woman becomes a mother, it is like a new life for her. But if for some reason a woman is not able to become a mother, then it is like a deficiency for her. There can be many reasons for a woman not becoming a mother, one of them being infertility. Talking about a few years ago, if a woman could not become a mother, then it was a big problem for her. But today time has changed. The medical field has made a lot of progress and now many such treatments are available for women, which can help in removing infertility easily. The name of one of these is IVF i.e. In Vitro Fertilization. Today, with the help of this treatment, couples can easily become parents and feel the joy of having a child in their life.

Infertility, impotence or sterility is a state of permanent inability to reproduce. In humans, if pregnancy does not occur after trying for one year, then it is called sterility or infertility. It is not only because of the woman. Infertility is due to the woman in only one third of the cases. It is the male's fault in the remaining one-third. The remaining one-third is caused by a mix of male and female factors or by unidentified causes. Infertility has become a common problem. Traditionally, the problem of infertility is often associated with women, although it is not so. If a couple fails to conceive even after trying continuously for 12 months or more, then it indicates a problem of infertility. In such a situation, both the desirous mother and the father need to seek medical advice so that the reason can be clarified. Before diagnosing infertility, the fertility specialist doctor tries to understand the sexual habits of the mother and the father in order to improve the chances of conceiving naturally. This article throws light on the problem of infertility and its treatment.
