Power Factor Improvement by load Planning and Scheduling

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Methodology to improve the power factor by planning and scheduling the load is discussed. Strategic steps toward improvement of power factor without increasing the kVA demand is put forth. This will go a long way for efficient utilization of electrical energy without additional investment in dedicated power factor improvement devices.
