Development of an IOT based Portable Patient Health Monitoring System for Medical Applications

Manjula Jayamma, C. Venkataiah, R. Sireesha

Abstract

Every country has made healthcare a top priority since the new corona virus was discovered. The best way to combat a pandemic like this is to implement an Internet of Things-based health monitoring system. The study of the Internet of Things (IoT) is growing quickly, especially in the realm of medicine. The subject of remote health care monitoring has developed quickly because to wearable sensors and smartphones. Regardless of the attending physician's location, Internet of Things (IoT) health monitoring helps prevent disease and enables precise diagnosis of health condition. Here, we provide a portable physiological checking framework that is capable of continually monitoring vital indications such as air quality, heart rate, and temperature. We have suggested a server-based, data-managing monitoring and control system that utilizes Wi-Fi modules to keep an eye on our patients' health. We suggest a remote health monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that would help doctors diagnose patients from a distance by allowing authorized personnel to access data collected using any IoT platform.
