SHOPPING SMART TROLLEY USING IOT

Manjula Jayamma, N. Ramadevi, Farooq Sunar Mahammad, C. Venkataiah

Abstract

In supermarkets and retail malls, a shopping trolley is used to move merchandise from the retailer to the client. Obtaining these commodities is not a simple task. Instead of having to pull the tram every time they needed something and possibly losing their spot in queue, customers should ideally draw the tram whenever they desired something. After making purchases, customers would rather pay their bills. Before being invoiced, consumers must wait in a long queue to have their purchases scanned by an RFID reader and a barcode scanner. A savvy mall shopper could alter that by making well-thought-out purchases. Every product needs to have an RFID barcode on it so that an RFID reader can scan it. The other parts of the smart cart will be the LCD screen and RFID reader. Consumers place the goods they wish to buy in the shopping cart. The product name and price will be displayed on an LCD screen following the product's scanning and reading. In the end, the Arduino will function as a memory, keeping track of the overall cost of all purchases made. These procedures are all carried out in a unique trolley.
