Rajasthan's Potential for Solar Power

Mrunal Bhatia

Abstract

Electricity consumption will rise as India's industrialization progresses, driving up the cost of fossil fuels. And furthermore increment ecological Contamination which results of ozone depleting substance discharges have recharged the interest in the improvement of elective energy assets. The best method for producing electrical energy is solar energy. Because it is generated by the sun's rays and comes from a renewable and never-ending source of energy, solar energy is completely free. India's northernmost state is Rajasthan. The state covers an area of 342,239 square kilometers or 10.4 percent of the absolute geological area of India. Land acquisition for a solar power project is also simple in this state due to its law-abiding population. Second, Rajasthan's climate is ideal for a solar project because of its relatively hot temperatures throughout the year, with extreme temperatures in both the summer and winter. As a result, the solar power projects that are currently operating in Rajasthan and their capacity according to region will be the subject of this paper. We likewise examine of element acknowledges of sun based project in Rajasthan.
