Abstract

This paper deals with operation the three phase induction motor continuously irrespective time and weather conditions. Initially energy from sunlight is trapped using solar panel, which is fed to battery. The energy from battery is rectified and stepped up as per the required voltage and fed to three phase induction motor. In the event of insufficient energy in battery, i.e. in winter season and during nights the energy is drawn from A.C. Mains. This change over, is done using Arduino Nano which is programmed accordingly, to Embedded system accomplish above task i.e. changeover is done thru relay circuit.

Keywords: Arduino, inverter, microcontroller, solar panel, relay
