Hybrid (Wind-Solar (Tracking)) Power Generation for Rural Electrification and Monitoring over IOT

P. Kishor, Sai Mani Varun

Abstract

This paper focuses on the design and development of Hybrid power generation system for rural electrification and ease of monitoring all the power generation from individual units and load monitoring using Iot. The entire hardware system is powered by using Solar PV system And Wind System in such a way to reduce grid dependency. This project includes various features like dual axis rotation of solar panels; Wi-Fi based remote controlled monitoring, sensing temperature level, humidity& inverter. The major advantage of HRES is to utilize generated power for rural electrification for at any remote locations. This Hybrid power Generation System Can be used to as grid connected unit of rooftop self-power generation unit these are very reliable and cost free maintenance units whereas technology is simple where wind turbine converts mechanical energy into electrical energy, and it produces output voltage and this AC voltage is converted to DC by the help of AC to DC converter or rectifier. The project makes use of a wind turbine and solar panels. Where the solar energy is contraped using solar PV cells the heat radiation energizes the solar cells and molecular reaction take place and a unit of charge is produced .the use of inverter is advanced technology where the Dc supply is converted to Ac supply. This AC is fed to electrical appliance. The O/p can be achieved using Different Configurations Asper load Demand Requirements.
