Abstract

By linking commonplace items to the internet, the extensive use of IoT is propelling the creation of smart cities. Although there are many potential advantages, there are also hazards and privacy issues. The study looks at the existing and upcoming trends in IoT and smart cities, analyzes how they interact, and pinpoints the main drivers of their expansion. In the context of smart cities, it also identifies IoT weaknesses and offers solutions.
