STAIRS LIGHT MOTION SENSOR

Venkatesh Melinkeri, Prof. Chandrakala Patil

Abstract

The project “Stair Light Motion Sensor” is designed to provide an automatic and energy-efficient lighting solution for staircases. The system uses a motion sensor to detect human presence and automatically switches on the lights when someone approaches the stairs. Once the person leaves or no motion is detected after a set time, the lights are switched off, thereby conserving electricity. This project not only enhances safety by ensuring proper illumination of the stairs at night or in low-light conditions but also minimizes unnecessary power consumption. The proposed system is simple, cost effective, and suitable for both residential and commercial applications, making it a practical solution for smart home and building automation.
