Architecture of Old Buildings in Bangladesh

Abstract


B.K Das Lane at Farashganj is considered as perhaps the most established neighborhood of Dhaka city. The region initially began to create during the Mughal time frame and later developed during the Colonial period, the indications of which are as yet flawless in the numerous old structures along this road but these substantial producers of our esteemed past are under danger as a result of spontaneous urbanization. Presently, there is an outrageous need to distinguish these noteworthy buildings before losing its original outstanding highlights. Subsequently, this paper contemplates the structures and styles of the old designs to make a gauge information for these notable buildings and accordingly carrying them to the public eye.
