"EKISTICS" as an All-Encompassing Method of Urban Planning for INDIA

Abstract


'Ekistics' expects to give a comprehensive arranging philosophy concentrating on its measurements through components of human settlements and City of future (COF) by Sir Constantinos Apostolos Doxiadis. According to doxiadis the ideal arranging will be the one which gives bliss and fulfillment to its kin and diminishes the abuse and wastage of assets, regular and artificial. Socialization can be used to target: Settlements are self-sustaining, so their residents should be proud of them. It ought to deal with all their natural, physical, close to home, profound and scholarly necessities. It should give people a sense of safety and all the tools they need to live a decent life. Residents ought to be engaged and utilized. They should never compromise their health or their relationship with the natural world; instead, they should live like they are a part of the natural world and constantly try to find balance and make things easier for them. India where financial and political comprehensive arranging becomes fundamental subordinate apparatus for the preparation of towns, towns, and urban areas. The research aims to provide society with a comprehensive understanding of our complex, indigenous, old, and new city fabrics across disciplines so that they can play meaningful roles in urban planning, city building, and shaping our settlements; successful planning interventions become entirely the responsibility of the government. ultimately raising the standard of living (QOL). Also, it aims to show how Constantinos Apostolos Doxiadis' theories about ekistics as a science of human settlements and ecumenopolis emerged.
