An Extension of the Real Estate Industry: An Analysis of Bangladesh's Smart Cities

Preeti Sharma

Abstract

This paper discusses both the current public discourse surrounding Bangladesh's real estate sector and potential areas that have yet to receive adequate attention. It highlights issues that may seem disconnected but are crucial to understanding the sector's complexities. Adopting a systems approach is essential, as it helps recognize the dynamic, interconnected nature of real estate challenges. Effective leadership within the sector goes beyond a simple leader-follower model; instead, all stakeholders must be adaptable and capable of leading at different times. Bangladesh’s real estate industry requires leadership that integrates complexity thinking and interdisciplinary approaches to effectively address current and future challenges.
