

A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON VARIOUS TAXES IMPOSED IN THE US STATE OF MONTANA AND ALABAMA IN THE LAST 10 YEARS STARTING 2024 AND BACKWARDS
Abstract
The paper compares Montana and Alabama’s tax systems in economic factors focusing on how they are different when it comes to taxes Montana is a state with few people. So it mostly gets its money from income land and business taxes it doesn’t have a general sales tax. Which is a big deal it’s Economy is based on farming tourism and Natural Resources to help the economy grow tax rules have been changed Montana also has tax credits for saving energy and paying for school local governments are funded by land taxes. Alabama has a different tax system because it has a bigger population in a more broad economy that includes making cars and spacecraft. Alabama has both income and sales taxes and its progressive tax system helps many businesses such as industry and technology new changes in Alabama are meant to encourage private spending and make it easier for businesses to pay their taxes. Montana focuses on its natural resource industries. While Alabama makes the most of its manufacturing and technology areas this shows how geography and the economy can affect tax policies the paper talks about how the way a state taxes its citizen’s affects its budget business climate and economic growth.
