Etiology of Vitamin E Deficiency, Appearance of a Patient with Vitamin E Deficiency and Tr eatment Possibilities for Vitamin E Deficiency
Abstract
Vitamin E is available in 8 different forms, all of which can be absorbed particularly in the small intestine. Whatever it may be, alpha-tocopherol is the only form that the liver can metabolize, and the remaining forms are eliminated. Vitamin E deficiency is explained in this activity along with its etiology, pathophysiology, and presentation. It also emphasizes the importance of the interprofessional team in managing individuals with vitamin E deficiency.
