Abstract
Patients who want to improve the appearance of their anterior teeth frequently complain of tooth discolouration. A change in the color or translucency of one or more teeth is referred to as tooth discoloration or staining. Based on the etiology and location, tooth stains can be extrinsic or intrinsic. Understanding the specific etiology is critical regarding the determination of the most appropriate treatment plan.
