Abstract

Job Finder is a comprehensive web-based job portal system developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, designed to facilitate seamless interaction between job seekers and employers in a dynamic job market. The platform features a responsive, visually appealing interface optimized for accessibility across devices, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Core functionalities include secure user authentication with distinct roles for job seekers and employers, enabling personalized access to features such as job applications, job postings, and profile management. Job seekers can browse an extensive database of job listings, apply with resume uploads, save preferred jobs, and monitor application statuses through a dedicated dashboard. Advanced search filters (location, category, job type, experience level) and a skill-based job recommendation engine enhance job discovery. Employers benefit from tools to post job openings, review applicant details, update application statuses, and export application data in CSV format for streamlined recruitment. The system leverages local Storage for robust data persistence, maintaining user sessions and job data across interactions. Additional features include real-time notifications for user actions, role-based access control to ensure security, and a modern design with smooth animations and clear visual hierarchy. By providing an efficient, centralized platform for career exploration and talent acquisition, Job Finder addresses the needs of diverse users, fostering connectivity and opportunity in the professional landscape.
