

An Analysis of Consumer Preferences for Restaurants in Bangalore
Abstract
This paper aims at analyzing how different factors affect consumers decisions on the restuarants to patronize in Bangalore. The study focuses on the impacts of different levels of income, average spending and choice of cuisine to the behavior of consumers, in order to reveal useful recommendations for the restaurant business. This research will explore the relationship of these variables with consumer decision, whereby information like the experience, environment, price and sites will be taken into consideration. Moreover this study will investigate the influence of social media and online reviews in the buying decision of consumers. The recommendations for the improvement in customer satisfaction and business performance of restaurants in Bangalore will be contributed from the recommendations made in this study.
