Abstract


In addition to highlighting the primary care physician's role in managing patients with herpes simplex type 2, this exercise teaches how to evaluate and treat the illness. In addition to organizing fundamental information on herpes genitalis and its clinical manifestations, this review will emphasize crucial elements of prophylactic, antiviral therapy (both present and future), and diagnostic procedures. In specifically, this exercise discusses the interprofessional team that treats patients with herpes genitalis and the risk of contracting the disease.
