iPhone Supply Chain Strategy and Customer Satisfaction Analysis

Abstract


Through this paper, in detail analysis of two important parameters of iPhone has been conducted. The parameters include the supply chain strategy of the brand and the analysis regarding the customer satisfaction of iPhone’s. Factor analysis is the technique used to understand the customer satisfaction of iPhone, the flagship product of the company Apple. iPhone is known for its expensive supple chain efficiency engulfing numerous countries and a huge number of suppliers.

The initial segment of this paper would elaborate on the supply chain strategy employed by Apple, for its flagship product iPhone. The paper also explains regarding the relationship Apple shares with its suppliers for multiple parts of iPhone such as displays, processors, assembling of final products etc. Various countries which contribute in the supply chain strategy of the product has also been highlighted in the paper. Emphasis has also been given regarding the risks and challenges faced by the supply chain of Apple in executing effectively.

In the latter half of the paper, an analysis has been conducted to understand the customer satisfaction of iPhones. The responses received through Google form were analyzed on the basis on the technique of factor analysis.

Hence, through the analysis done in the paper we get valuable insights regarding the efficiency of the supply chain while addressing the challenges involved. The paper also helps in finding out the customer satisfaction drivers which could help in acting as a guide for the making future improvements in the product. Hence, we see that an amalgamation of the analysis of the customer satisfaction and supply chain could help in understanding success of iPhone and its excellence of operational and user centric strategies.
