CET AI Mentor: AI-Based College Selection and Guidance System Using Machine Learning

Abstract

Choosing the right college after the CET becomes a difficult task for several candidates owing to a lot of factors such as availability of numerous colleges, different cut-off marks, and category wise rules. Candidates often become confused and have to seek manual assistance from others to get their doubts cleared and do things correctly.

In order to deal with such situations, this project attempts to develop the CET AI Mentor, a college prediction application that uses machine learning techniques to help students identify colleges. The system helps identify suitable colleges considering factors like CET score, rank, and category based on admission data from the past.

All that users need to do is enter their necessary data, after which the system will provide a list of colleges where chances of getting admitted are very high.

Overall, this method proves to be faster, simpler, and more efficient than traditional ones used by other candidates.
