BILLBOT- A Solution for Billing Systems
Abstract
Nowadays, practically all tasks are performed by machines or computers. Why can't cashiers be computers?
Traditional billing procedures used in supermarkets can annoy customers by increasing the time it takes to finish transactions. To address this issue, we created a system that combines a "billbot" with a recommendation system. By eliminating checkout lines, this new programme has the potential to transform store experiences. Items are effectively scanned using an app and placed into a Smart Cart utilising this technology. The programme, which is based on data mining techniques, provides users with simultaneous suggestions based on their purchase history and popular goods.Weight verification improves the checkout process's efficiency and security. Payment permission is provided only when the total weight displayed in the cart matches the weight estimated by the app. Furthermore, barcode production provides a dependable authentication technique throughout both checkout and departure. Customers can choose an extra transportation service to reduce the inconvenience of transporting products. Overall, this approach not only simplifies shopping but also improves consumer happiness through personalised recommendations and a faster checkout process.
