Molecular Mechanism Involved In the Pathophysiology of Diabetes: A Review

Abstract


Diabetes mellitus is a set of physical dysfunctions characterized by means of hyperglycemia ensuing straight from insulin resistance, insufficient insulin secretion, or excessive glucagon secretion. Type-1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune sickness leading to the destruction of pancreatic beta-cells. Type-2 diabetes (T2D), which is much more common, is basically a problem of regularly impaired glucose law because of an aggregate of dysfunctional pancreatic beta cells and insulin resistance. When your blood sugar levels are above normal but not high enough to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes, you have prediabetes. It also indicates that your risk of developing type 2 diabetes is high.
