Classroom Light and Fan Automation

Abstract

The Internet of things (IoT) is a network of "things" embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies to connect and exchange data over the Internet. Real-time analytics, machine learning, commodity sensors, and embedded systems have evolved. Embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, control systems, automation (home and building automation), and others enable the Internet of things. In the consumer market, IoT technology is most synonymous with "smart home" products, such as lighting fixtures, thermostats, home security systems and cameras, and other home appliances that support one or more common ecosystems and can be controlled via smartphones and smart speakers. Healthcare systems can use IoT. Concerns about the IoT's growth, especially in privacy and security, have prompted industry and government to develop international standards. We have designed an Embedded System which is able to control light and fan of a classroom in our college.
