Abstract

Although fuel-powered vehicles are one of history's greatest inventions, their harmful effects on the environment paved the way for the development of electric vehicles. Emission-free electric vehicles run on electricity and produce no emissions. Charging stations are required for these EVs. This work gives framework and support of charging stations. To this day, charging stations have been installed all over the world. Level 1, Level 2 and quick EV charging stations have been introduced in different places separately. For any EV charging station to function effectively, maintenance is necessary. The frequency of use and the weather are two of the many factors that affect how well charging stations work. This study provides a comprehensive overview of various charging station technologies, options for power, and maintenance that are ideal for the Indian market.
