RFID BASED SAFETY AND SECURITY SYSTEM

Abstract


The increasing incidents of road accidents and two-wheeler thefts underscore the urgent need for more robust safety and security measures. Conventional ignition systems are often susceptible to misuse, and rider distractions are a leading cause of traffic-related injuries. This project offers a novel, dual-purpose solution by integrating secure ignition control with active rider monitoring into a single system. The ignition mechanism leverages RFID technology to ensure that only authorized individuals can start the vehicle, thereby reducing the risk of theft. Simultaneously, the system enhances safety by detecting the rider’s presence and alertness, encouraging more responsible driving behavior. Developed with an emphasis on affordability, simplicity, and practical deployment, this solution aims to significantly improve vehicle protection and minimize accidents linked to inattentive riding. It serves as a progressive and intelligent response to the challenges of modern urban mobility and the increasing need for smart transportation safety systems.
