An Overview of Plastic Waste for Flexible Pavements

Sunil Kumar, Neeraj Mehta, Ankit Sethi

Abstract

Plastic is a major concern from a long time. But today this is solved by using plastic waste practically. Plastic becomes a part of life in each and every activity. But it is Non bio-degradable so it produces Pollution Globally. Now using some amount of plastic waste with bitumen has provided a way to reduce the plastic pollution. As it takes Thousands of years for degradation. Sometimes we can reduce the plastic by ban on it. But this is not a Solution As it cannot be banned completely. But reuse of plastic is only a Solution. Generally single use plastics are of major concern.
