Utilising the programme STAAD PRO for the design and study of a multi-story building

Dr. Vrajesh Patel

Abstract

The structural engineer has the audacity to take on larger and more sophisticated structures subjected to many types of loading conditions since they are responsible for designing the structures for safe computer technology. An attempt is made to analyse and design a multi-story structure using the software programme STAAD Pro in order to save structural engineers' time. While analysing a multi-story building, it's important to take into account all potential loads and make sure the structure is secure.

The project's goal is to outline the right procedure for producing specifications and supporting conditions, types of loads, and load combinations, as well as designing geometry, cross sections for columns and beams, etc. STAAD PRO is used to analyse the seismic and wind load combination in this 30-story high-rise building.
