Examination of Road Safety Parameters and Road Characteristics: A Review

Kartik Rana, Ankit Sethi

Abstract

This examination brought off the detailed study of road safety specifications and road characteristics on road accidents. By knowing the various factors affecting the road safety is basically an important thing as road safety reduces the chance of accident on road. So, this review article basically includes specifications of road safety on road accidents, characteristics of roads and technical review of vehicles being an integral part for remodeling road safety. This report includes the Theory of Road safety which includes estimate of death over time due to various reasons. And designing of roads which improves road safety, Traffic characteristics Traffic flow and speed limits and various reasons of accidents on road due to over speed, health issue, driver’s condition etc. The main objective of this review examination is to provide proper knowledge about Road safety specifications and details of road accidents along with their causes.
