Automation of Rain Water Disposal System

Abstract

In most of the cities like Sangli, Kolhapur drainage system is managed by Municipal Corporation. The main job of Municipal Corporation is to maintain health of city but very few of the municipal parties are succeeding to achieve this goal. Probably drainages are blocked due to heavy rain, mud, dust and sticky substances inside the pipe. The official concerned person unable to identify the particular blockage in drainage, so blockage remains as it is. This cause many problems like health problem, traffic may get jammed. Our project is to identify the blockages and send information to Municipal Corporation. Moisture sensors and LDR sensors are main key factor of this project. By monitoring these two types of sensor we can easily identify the blockage.
