Abstract

This paper represents information on Quality and quantity checking of fuel specially for two wheeler bikes. In this system, ultrasonic sensor is used for measuring the quantity of fuel .for Quality checking there is not direct sensor to check quality of fuel so we used the LDR sensor and LED arrangement to check the quality of fuel. Mostly in the gasoline kerosene is added for some money by petrol pump owner, due to kerosene added in the petrol the color of petrol get changes due to this light intensity from LED to LDR  changes and we get different  reading and this obtained reading calibrated in terms 10 % to 100% and this concept is used for the measurement of the quality of fuel This system is to overcome the problem of fuel adulteration and also shows how much fuel is filled in the tank at the time of filling fuel at fuel pump.
