Self-Automated Fan with Speed Control System

Abstract


One of the challenges facing in human day to day life is manual control remains unchanged i.e., it requires the presence of human to operate everything. Manual control can be be updated by adapting automatic control. Automatic plays a vital role in human life. In this paper, the concept of controlling the speed of the fan automatically using ATmega328 Microcontroller. PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) senses the presence of human within the room and passes the signal to the Controller. LM35, a temperature sensor used to measure the temperature of the surroundings, where Arduino UNO is used as an interface to measure and control the system and is programmed using Embedded C.
