Solar Powered Umbrella for Common Man

Anisha Anand, Juhi Mishra

Abstract

The notion of a "smart umbrella" is a creative one that reduces energy use in the stalls set up by the vendors to sell vegetables or on, beaches to sell coconuts and other hydrating drinks, and other such locations such as the one who mend shoes roadside or those who polish shoes at night time. A smart umbrella is essentially a solar-powered umbrella that may be used to charge phone batteries and power LED lights at night. Solar energy, which is created by the sun, is a non-depleting renewable energy source that is pollution-free. The amount of solar energy that enters the earth every hour is sufficient to supply all of the energy needed for a year. So, the idea of a smart umbrella is a practical approach to reduce the amount of electricity used in eateries.
