Multipurpose Surveillance Snail Robot Based on IoT

M. Siva Kumar, T.C. Sanjeeva Rayudu

Abstract

The primary goal of the work is to create a robotic snake that can move and be observed in various surroundings. This project showcases a robotic snake concept that can track the temperature in a room and perhaps lead to the discovery of human existence. In this work, we created a robotic snake that has sensors—temperature, ultrasonic, and others as well as a camera, GPS, and remote control monitoring. The friction between the robot's body and the surface it is on causes it to move. Each joint can swivel 228 degrees in any direction thanks to the way the joints were designed and produced. There are two DC servo motors in each joint.  The robotic snake is utilised for a variety of tasks, including monitoring and inspection of densely packed spaces that traditional gear cannot access.
