SMART FARMING USING IoT – A Study

Abstract


The advent of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has revolutionized every aspect of everyday life for the average person by enabling intelligence and intelligence in everything. A network of things that self-configures is referred to as the Internet of Things. Agriculture production is changing daily as a result of the development of Intelligent Smart Farming, or IoT-based gadgets that not only improve agriculture but also make it more efficient and waste-free. This paper's goal is to present a novel smart IoT-based agriculture stick that will help farmers monitor their surroundings more effectively by providing them with real-time data on temperature and soil moisture. This will allow farmers to practice smart farming, which will raise their total yield and product quality. The agriculture stick that this article proposes is equipped with Arduino technology. Thingsspeak.com provides a live data feed that can be accessed online, along with a breadboard that is combined with many sensors. The suggested product has been tested in real-world agricultural fields, yielding data feeds with great accuracy—more than 98%.
