Charging Station for Electric Vehicle

Abstract


Electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) play a vital role in supporting the widespread deployment of EVs. This system aims to address several critical aspects of EVCS operation, including charging station communication, power management, user authentication. It incorporates smart charging algorithms that prioritize renewable energy utilization, load balancing, and grid stability. The system supports demand response capabilities, allowing charging stations to respond to grid signals. This helps to optimize energy consumption and minimize the impact of EV charging on the electrical grid. To ensure secure and authorized access, the charging station incorporates Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Users are provided with RFID cards or tags that contain unique identification information. These RFID cards are authenticated at the charging station's interface, allowing access to the charging infrastructure. Once authorized, users are allocated a specific amount of time for charging their EV.
