Theoretical Design Using Optimum Parameters in Thermal Storage Systems

Abstract


In thermal systems there is often transfer of energy accompanied by sensible heat change or latent heat change. It involves large amounts of heat energy interactions. During the power production, there are various stages upon which the interaction of heat energy can be stored and distributed again for further production of steam. The thermal Storage systems can be of two types. They are Sensible heat storage and Latent heat storage. Here is a paper which finds out optimum design parameters for the efficient functioning of thermal storage systems with high efficiency and effectiveness
