Anant Dattatray Awasare, Sarfaraj J Mulani

Abstract

This study investigates the adoption and impact of biogas as an alternative fuel in rural farms, focusing on its production, utilization, and the associated socio-economic and environmental implications. The research encompasses diverse agricultural settings, exploring the potential of biogas to address energy needs sustainably. Through a comprehensive methodology involving site selection, data collection, and analysis, this paper presents insights into the efficiency of biogas systems, their impact on agricultural practices, and the broader implications for sustainable rural development. The findings contribute to the understanding of biogas as a viable alternative fuel, offering a promising avenue for promoting energy access, enhancing agricultural productivity, and fostering environmentally friendly practices in rural farming communities.
