Abstract

In the current work gas turbine is fuelled by consuming metropolitan strong waste(MSW)inside the ignition office of gas turbine in presence of air coming from blower of gas turbine. The mass stream pace of MSW and air are changed so that steady 1 MW power is created after burning gas is gone through the turbine. The fumes ignition gas emerging from turbine in the wake of creating force of 1 MW is utilized for warming linseed cooking oil from 298.15 K to 393.15 K and measure of warming oil creation diminishes from 1:00 hour to 5:00 hours, increments from 6:00 hours to 15:00 hours and again diminishes from 16:00 hours to 24:00 hours. The excess fumes gas leaving out in the wake of warming cooking oil is utilized for warming generator of water-LiBr fume retention refrigeration system(VARS)maintained at generator and evaporator temperature of 700C, 12oC separately for air cooling application. The condenser and absorber temperatures are monitored for maximum and minimum temperatures in May and January, respectively, in Kolkata, India. For the months of May and January, the actual COP (coefficient of performance) values for the generator's heating load and cooling load are 0.211 and 0.48, respectively, and they decrease from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., increase from 6:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m., and again decrease from 16:00 p.m. to 24:00 p.m.
