A Survey on Personalized Web Search Techniques

Vandana Maurya

Abstract

The information explosion on the Internet makes it difficult for users to get required information from the web searched results. Two general types of approaches to personalizing search results are: client side personalization and server side personalization. By considering all the benefits of a web personalization, this paper present various approaches used to achieve efficient and effective web personalization.
